Candy Cane and Jelly Bean
The sweetest couple ever seen.
Bean was fat, jolly and round.
Cane was thin, with his head curved down.
They both became a child’s best friend
with pleasure they gave and gave again.
But soon a problem came to town.
in a child’s mouth, a cavity was found.
It made the tooth ache with pain.
Bean said Candy Cane was to blame.
The cavity loved what it had done.
His decaying mission had just begun.
The child in pain started to scream
One ouch for Cane, one ouch for Bean.
Suddenly it was made clear
A trip was due to the dentist chair.
This made the cavity nervous.
Cane and Bean could be out of service.
Without candy he could not exist
he feared the rotten teeth he’d miss.
But eating candy is not a crime
If children brush their teeth every time.
